French tyre manufacturer Michelin is joining forces with the Tour de l’Avenir, Femmes et Hommes, by sponsoring the neutral assistance system. As such, two vehicles in the colours of the Clermont-Ferrand-based company will be at the heart of the race, ready to help cyclists in all circumstances. The bikes provided by Mavic will be equipped with wheels fitted with MICHELIN Power Cup tyres supplied by Michelin.
The Tour de l’Avenir is delighted to welcome Michelin, with its expertise in motor sport and as an international leader in mobility, as an official partner.
David CHRZANOVSKI (Sales Director Europe / Michelin Vélo): As cycling and competition are part of the Michelin Group’s DNA, we are very enthusiastic and proud to be supporting the Tour de l’Avenir as an Official Partner! This is a great opportunity for us to affirm our desire to be a major player in the world of cycling, on an international scale. Our new range of MICHELIN Power Cup tyres, co-developed with the Cofidis team, will be fitted on all the Tour de l’Avenir’s technical assistance bikes for the 2023 event. The event will be marked by the launch of the first Tour de l’Avenir Féminin, which will start in Saint-Vallier (71), close to one of our factories.
The MICHELIN team wishes every success to this great event and to all these young talents who are ready for battle! »
