The Dordogne department involved in the Tour de l’Avenir
31 July 2019
The Dordogne department is looking forward to the Tour de l’Avenir! Christelle Boucaud, vice-president of the department and Philippe Colliou, director of the organisation, signed this Wednesday 31 July a committed partnership which will be characterised in particular by:
👉🏼 Creation of the “KM24” prize rewarding the first rider to pass at kilometer 24 of the stage every day
👉🏼 A prominent presence in the advertising caravan that will complement an enhanced visibility system
👉🏼 Full streaming of the team time trial taking place in the Dordogne (Stage 2 Eymet-Bergerac) and the departure from Montignac Lascaux the following day (Stage 3).
The Tour de l’Avenir will start on August 15th from Marmande. The Dordogne will host the 2nd stage, a 32.5 km team CLM between Eymet and Bergerac. Montignac Lascaux will be the starting point for the 3rd stage which will take the riders to Mauriac (Cantal).
